“ I ordered to go. They do an excellent job packing. I treated myself to guacamole with chips. The chips were crispy and fresh. The guac was a good portion and hit every highnote. I ordered the three enchilada plate and was completely satisfied. Rice and beans are not an afterthought. Very tasty. So glad you're close. I've been there quite a few times since you opened. There are several good Mexican restaurants in the Florissant area but we know El Maguey has the best food (everything so fresh), the friendliest wait staff, excellent drinks, large portions, and a great atmosphere. A couple of weeks ago I hosted a party at my home. I want it to be a stress-free with no work party. I had El Maguey cater the food. They worked with me on the menu to make sure it was exactly what I wanted. The day of the party when we picked up the food, the packaging could not have been better. The food was hot, fresh, and ready to sit on the buffet table. They covered everything for our tacos and fajitas down to a container of sour cream. Best of all they are affordable. They made my party easy! ”
“ El Maguey Florissant is the newest location in Florissant. It is back open after being closed for a little while. We decided to go Friday evening after work. Both drink specials but they do have a small pitcher of margarita reasonable priced. You can mix flavors so I got the frozen passion fruit and peach margarita mixed. You can get them frozen or on the rocks. This was delicious. We were seated as soon as we came in and the restaurant was crowded at all when we first arrived but as the night went on more people came in. Service was immediate and the waitress took our order quickly. I had the Pappas locas with chicken instead of beef. This is my go to. It was delicious with the jalapenos. The portions are a good size, enough for 2 to share. I will be back ”
“ The Food was delicious. I had the shrimp Fajitas and my girlfriend had the chicken nachos. The service was terrific! The staff were very friendly and greeted us when we came through the door. The ambiance was nice and trendy, with sports on the televisions. Loved it! ”
“ Have visited a couple times over the last few months. 1 dine in experience and 1 online order experience. The food is prepared quickly! If you don't have alot of time, go here! The online order took 7 min to be ready and the dine in maybe took just a few min longer than that. Dine in, I had the Sampler. It comes with 4 wings, 2 triangles of cheese quesadilla, 2 triangles of chicken quesadilla and 2 chicken flautas. It's tasty, but the chicken flautas are dry. These need a sauce, so make sure to get some. To go order, chicken wings and beef tacos, all of it great! They have really good chicken wings! ”

“ This location just reopened and I went with a couple friends during the dinner hour. We were seated immediately and our waiter was pretty attentive. Our chips and salsa were brought out very quickly and we didn't have to pay for any of that. My prickly pear margarita was perfect, on the rocks and well balanced in flavor. I would definitely order it again. My shrimp chimichanga appeared to be small to me for some reason but I barely finished it. It was fully loaded with delectable shrimp. I'm always happy with a side of rice and beans. So in short, pay them a visit if you're in the area for lunch or dinner. ”
